Kit Collins for Medford City Council
Kit Collins for Medford City Council
Building a more welcoming, safe, and resilient city for all those who call Medford home.

For as long as I’ve lived in Medford, I’ve felt safe, welcome, and at home. I'm here to fight for policies that will ensure that everyone who lives here can feel the same way.
From a housing un-affordability crisis, to chronically underfunded public schools and public infrastructure, to grappling with our goals on climate change mitigation and resiliency – we must start addressing Medford's issues with the level of urgency that they require.

Thank you for electing me to serve a second term so I can continue to advance bold, ambitious goals for Medford to uplift and protect its residents – both right now, and for future generations.

My Background

I'm a professional public artist, muralist and illustrator. I proudly rent in South Medford. I was raised in upstate New York, and I graduated from Tufts with honors in 2015 with a degree in Peace & Justice Studies.

I believe I add needed perspectives to our City Council. With over 40% of Medford residents renting their homes, I strongly believe in having more tenants in office. In my day job as a creative professional, I rely on out-of-the-box problem-solving, effective communication, and responsiveness; I try to apply these skills to my work with my fellow Councilors, City staff, and constituents.
